- Department Introduction
Established in 1973, the Korea University Graduate School of Human Ecology has produced numerous professors, experts, and other social leaders in the field of life sciences through its Master’s and Doctoral programs. In line with today’s era of internationalization, we are not only actively attracting foreign students, but also promoting academic exchange with foreign scholars by inviting world-renowned scholars to seminars and other academic activities.
- Educational Objective
The ultimate goal of life sciences is to contribute to human development by observing and exploring the relationship between human beings and material elements, and the way they interact with their environment. The Graduate School of Human Ecology aims to nurture professionals equipped with the research capability and expertise demanded by society through systematic training in the fields of child studies, clothing and textiles, food science and nutrition, and consumer and family resource management.
